are smokin hot right now and it's no wonder. Lincecum has won the NL Cy Young Award the last two seasons. And the San Francisco Giants' flame-thrower is off to a hot start so far in the young 2010 baseball season.
Yesterday, he made his 3rd start of the season against the hated Los Angeles Dodgers and he was outstanding on the the mound
and at the plate. He pitched 6 innings and struck out 7 batters. He allowed 0 earned runs on only 4 hits as the Giants beat
the Dodgers by a score of 9-0.
Tim Lincecum also went 3 for 4 at the plate and drove in 3 runs. An all around spectacular game for one of the best pitchers
in the National League. He and the Phillies' great right hander Roy Halladay look like they will be fighting for the NL Cy
award all season long. It might be a little tougher for Lincecum because the Giants offense isn't the best, while Halladay
gets tons of run support from that powerful Phillies lineup.
As mentioned above, Tim Lincecum has gotten off to a fast start in the 2010 baseball season. After yesterdays win over the
Dodgers, Lincecum is 3-0. He has pitched a total of 20 innings and has struck out 24 batters. And he has a microscopic 0.90
ERA. This kid can pitch!
Tim Lincecum was the 10th pick in the 2006 MLB amateur draft. And a majority of his rookie cards are in 2007 baseball sets.
But he does have a 2006 rookie card as well. Tim Lincecum's hottest rookie cards going right now are his Bowman Chrome Auto and
Bowman Sterling issues. Even his non premium rookies are selling at some pretty good prices. And if Tim Lincecum continues
to pitch like a super star pitcher, look for his rookie cards to continue to climb in price.
